Marine Conservation Institute is accepting nominations for the 2027 Blue Park Awards until 14 August 2026. MPAs that meet Blue Parks’ science-based standards for conservation effectiveness earn prestigious Blue Park Awards and cash prizes recognizing their contributions to protecting and recovering marine biological diversity. Blue Parks, endorsed by the UN Ocean Decade, is setting the global standard for MPA quality and assembling a network of MPAs that will safeguard life in the sea.
